The Brazilian Dream

Hold on to your feathers, kids, because Jungle to Jungle is hosting the Brazilian Dream! It's gonna be a throw-down with fresh Brazilian funk and funky house beats from DJs Plush, Megawomp and Daniel J. There will be performances from the west side's Rio Maui's capoeira outfit and believe-it-or-not live Brazilian bikini waxes throughout the night! There will even be a secret live act at twelve. Come dressed up for Carnaval and get a discount at the door. Fabulous Faces face painting will also be making an appearance to help make everyone look..well.. more fabulous. Come shake your thang Saturday, August 15th at Casanova's in Makawao. $12 at the door, $10 if you are in costume. Jungle to Jungle is an interactive science and technology program that brings international exploration and biology as well as a deeper understanding of digital tools into classrooms. This fall, J2J will be taking Kalama Intermediate students on a virtual field trip to the Amazon jungle! For more information about the project, please see www.jungletojungle.org
